I wanted to build something that took that risk off the table entirely. A service where customers could feel confident from the start — not just that their documents were well translated, but that they were correctly certified, properly formatted, and genuinely ready for submission.
Over time it became clear that translation was only part of what people needed. Many documents also required an apostille, and customers were being left to navigate multiple providers and confusing steps on their own. So we brought that in-house too — with direct counter access in Milton Keynes, we can handle translation and apostille together, which saves time and removes a lot of the back-and-forth.
Today, we’ve supported over 7,000 customers with documents for visas, legal matters, studies, property, and more. The process is as straightforward as we can make it — upload a clear photo or scan of your document from anywhere, and we’ll handle the rest.
Spanish Sworn Translators UK is a specialist provider of Spanish sworn translation (traducción jurada), certified translation, and apostille services, supporting individuals and organisations preparing documents for use in Spain and internationally.
At the heart of the service is a close-knit team of experienced translators who are officially authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores). All our translators hold degrees in Translation and Interpreting and most are members of recognised professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI). We also carry professional indemnity insurance — providing an additional layer of protection for customers commissioning translations for legal, property, and inheritance processes. That combination of official authorisation, professional standing, and insurance means every translation we produce is legally recognised by Spanish authorities, consulates, embassies, and public institutions.
We work across a wide range of document types — from visa applications and legal paperwork to academic records, property documents, and personal certificates — and we’re experienced in the specific requirements of Spanish consulates and official bodies. Our in-house apostille service means that where documents need both translation and legalisation, everything can be handled together without the need for separate providers.
Yes. Every sworn translation includes the translator’s official certification, signature, and stamp, which allows it to be recognised by Spanish authorities.
Professional registration details and verification information can be provided on request.
For many people, getting documents ready for use in Spain is more complicated than it should be. Choosing the wrong type of translator, not knowing whether an apostille is needed, or dealing with multiple providers can lead to delays and rejections that are entirely avoidable.
We built Spanish Sworn Translators UK to take that confusion away:
